My name is Andreas (Jon Ingmar) Fagerholm and I am a researcher in political science (comparative politics).

My current research is mainly focused on political parties (as actors in elections, legislatures and governments). I am also interested in political methodology (qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods) and in the history and philosophy of political science.

My hobbies include, in no particular order, travelling, groundhopping, hiking, nature & fishing, cooking & food, science, history, militaria, and railways & trainspotting (esp. tram and rapid transit systems).

I do not use social media (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn etc.). If you want to contact me, send an e-mail.

I am also obsessed with making lists, so here is one of my three most recently read books:

Klinge, Matti:
Vihan veljistä valtiososialismiin (WSOY, 1983)

— Intellectual history focusing on Finland in the early 20th century.

Luostarinen, Heikki:
Perivihollinen (Vastapaino, 1986)

— War propaganda.

Lundmark, Lennart:
Protest och profetia: Korpela-rörelsen och drömmen om tidens ände (Arkiv förlag, 1985)

— On the Siikavaara sect.
